Pumpkin Carving!

This is our first year carving pumpkins with the girls! We have always been so busy that pumpkin carving got pushed aside. The girls thought the seeds were disgusting! I agree and was very happy to be nursing the baby during most of the removing of the pumpkin guts. It's just so slimy! I think agree with my sister that I would rather change a baby's stinky diaper than scrape pumpkin guts. The girls had fun choosing what faces to cut out of their pumpkins. Adelaide also had a great time watching the excitement!

Halloween 2011

What a fun Halloween! Madison and Emerie had a great time dressing up this year. Madison wanted to be Sleeping Beauty riding a flying unicorn and Emerie picked out her dinosor costume. Emerie gave some great scary faces as she roared around the house and neighborhood!
They loved going to Halloween parties! Madison even had a Hallween parade at her preschool. There is nothing like going around getting lots of candy! I love Halloween in Ohio because everyone decorates their driveways and sits outside with their friends and candy waiting to greet all the kids. They don't even have to knock on any doors! We had lots of fun trick-or-treating with our friends the Bugnitz! Love their family themed costume!

Two months old!

Just one little smile.... I worked hard to get just one little smile out of Adelaide and you can see the beginnings of a few. Of course, it's hard to smile for a camera:)

This cute little girl has turned two months! She has begun to smile and chat away. She is sleeping much better and so we are sleeping much better. She is a lot happier and such a cute little snuggler! We just love our little Adelaide. The girls continue to give her lots of love and attention.
My friend Tamera made her cute owl hat, she is so talented!

Fun Hairdo!

I tried something new on Madison's hair. She wanted it all up in a pony tail but it always falls out. So I tried this out. It was pretty cute and she loved it! Taking the pony tails out at bath time, well that's another story.

Diggin in the dirt

These girls aren't afraid to get dirty. Emerie did tell me however that she is allergic to bugs.

Mini Preschool Group!

Emerie had her first mini preschool group this last week. Only a few of the kids were able to make it but normally there will be six. She has been anxious to have a group of her own since we are always taking Madison to all of her fun things. Emerie's friends were so cute and had lots of fun. We played games, read stories and talked about shapes. I made the kids these fun felt boards for them to put their shapes on. It was lots of fun. Oh, and Ems decided to wear her Halloween costume the whole time:)
