The Easter Bunny!

Emerie was not afraid of the Easter bunny this year! Last year I think she was on my lap and crying:( It always helps of course to be wearing your froggy hat when you visit the bunny. Adelaide didn't seem to mind the bunny either!
Our local grocery store Giant Eagle hosts the bunny, and egg hunt, face painting, cookie decorating, and Emerie (with my help) guessed the right amount of jelly beans in the the bunny jar behind her so she got to take it home! She was so proud!
On Easter they loved looking for their baskets and eating all the candy in them! The best part was watching daddy look for his Easter basket! The bunny hid it in a very "tricky" spot (it was actually pretty easy) but daddy couldn't find it for such a long time. We were laughing so hard!

More Family Pictures

After Adelaide woke up from her nap we had to take more pictures! Love these cute girls. It really is guite the task to get everyone somewhat looking in the camera and smiling!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I felt so sound of music making these dresses. They were from some old sheets that I had held on to for a few years. I wasn't quite sure how I would like the colors but I think they turned out so fun! The green is such a perfect springtime color!

Easter Sunday

After church we stopped at a park to take a few Easter pictures of the girls in the dresses I made them. Adelaide was sound asleep in the stroller and we decided not to wake her up.
 We had lots of fun and we were so lucky to have my sister Jaimie visiting with us for the weekend. We surprised the girls the Thursday before Easter with Jaimie hiding in their room. They were so amazed that she was here and they just stood in shock for a minute or two and then warmed right up soon after. It is so hard to be away from family and we are so lucky to have visitors every now and then:) Thanks so much Jaimie for coming out to visit us! We loved every minute!

More Springtime Photos

We love visiting our temple and walking around with the kids.

Digging In the Dirt

These girls love to dig in the dirt with daddy. They get out their shovels and they are big helpers in the yard! Adelaide helped out by looking cute on the blanket and I was the photographer of course:)

Springtime Photos

After church one day we all went outside to take a few pictures with the pretty springtime blossoms. Madison and Emerie are wearing dresses that i made for them last summer. I always use the same pattern and just change up the fabric and embellishments. It's a great pattern because it grows with them and they can wear them for a long time!
