Petting Zoo Day

 Hilton Head had it all! The girls loved this really fun petting zoo! The especially loved feeding the deer and riding the horses. Afterwards we headed over to a fun light house. Jake rested his back while I hiked to the top with the girls.

 This day was so much fun! We had gone on a boat tour, had an amazing dinner, and there was a kids concert afterwards. The girls loved dancing to the songs, singing and having the time of their life. It was so beautiful being by the ocean. Cute little Adelaide was all tuckered out at the end of the day!

Dolphin Boat Tour

 We went on a dolphin boat tour and we were able to see quite a few dolphins swimming around the area. It was a great way to see more of the island and the girls loved being on a boat!

More Hilton Head Vacation

Sitting on our porch eating watermelon, swimming in the pool, spending all day at the beach! What a fun time! The girls loved swimming in the pool with their cute little floaties and I loved sitting on the sand building drip castles and looking for seashells.
It all was a little bit too good to be true when Jake threw his back out on day two of our vacation. It happened when he bent down to pick Adelaide out of the pack and play from a nap. We still had a wonderful vacation, and Jake was such a trooper through his back pain. It was however a lot more work for me doing all the lifting and juggling of the kids. The one time you have your husband all week to help out and... it was a challenge not to be bitter at the irony.  And poor Jake often walked like he was pregnant and took it pretty slow on a few occasions. Stopping to sit or lie down at random places. It took him a few weeks after we got home to fully recover. Towards the end he was doing a lot better and we still had a great time!

First Day At The Beach

 This last spring we went to Hilton Head Island in SC. We absolutely loved it! We have been to Myrtle beach and this was ten times better!!! It was such a nice family friendly place! We stayed at a condo right on the beach! We could wake up and just walk outside to the beach! I knew it wouldn't be a vacation if we had to get in and out of a car to go to the beach. Kids and lots of sand and a car don't mix very well:)
The first day at the beach the girls went crazy! Especially Madison! She is our water girl and as you can see in the pictures she has the look of absolute pure joy on her face! It was so much fun to watch! They think we should move to the beach of course!
