Springtime Fun
Adelaide at Seven Months Old!
Our little grinner! This little cutie pie loves to just sit and grin! She tucks her little lip under and gives the cutest little grins. It's so much fun walking into her room in the morning and seeing this cute little face. I may be completely tired and then when I see this cute face I get a big boost of happy energy. My heart just melts all day when I see this cute little girl, she is such a sweetheart! It is so much fun to play with her, read her stories and rock her to sleep!
She loves singing songs, playing peek-a-boo, watching her silly sisters, reading stories, bath time with her sisters, snuggling, and sitting up. She loves to give big slobbery kisses and she will blow a big raspberry on your cheek! She is just to much fun and I am so blessed to have such a cute little baby!
Six Months Old
At six months Adelaide is all smiles and one of her favorite activities continues to be clapping with her feet. She loves the sound it makes and always takes off her socks to make sure they don't interfere. After a few sad nights her two bottom teeth finally came in. She loves to giggle, read books, grab at her sisters and say ma, ma, ma, da, da, da, and ba, ba, ba. We just love this little girl so much and she makes us smile and laugh everyday!
Phone Pictures
Here are a bunch of fun pictures from my phone. The girls love waiting for daddy to come home, dressing up, playing with their sister Adelaide, reading with daddy, getting haircuts, and just being cute!
Projects and Happy Birthday to Me
In February I completed my first pinterest projects of the many hundreds of things that I had pinned. I made this fun felt garland for the girls room. It was so easy to do and it's very easy to store for another year. It folds up so nicely!
I also took the girls to Home Depot for there free Saturday kids project. The girls loved building their Valentines day boxes! I need to remember to take them each month.
We also celebrated my birthday by taking the family out to Red Robin. It was our first time taking all three kids to a sit down family restaurant and I would say it went pretty well. The restaurant had quite the interesting crowd their and it was very family friendly. The girls think it is so fun to go out as a family. Earlier that day Jake sent me for some R&R at a day spa for a mini facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. It was a nice break! On a funny side note, it's a really nice salon and I had to take Jake's car so he could take the girls places. His car isn't in the best of shape, it's missing a few hub caps and earlier that week his door handle broke off. I made sure to park in the back of the parking lot so as not to be seen climbing over through the passenger side if I couldn't figure out the right way to jimmy the handle:) Luckily after a few moments of looking like I was breaking in to my car I was able to make a graceful entrance into the drivers side:) The handle is now replaced. They family also made my favorite caramel brownies! It was a fun weekend.
Fun Valentines
We made our own Valentines this year that were a lot of fun! You take a picture of your kids holding a wrapping paper role wrapped in white paper and then after you print it off you put a sucker in the top and it looks like they are holding a giant sucker. It turned out so cute and I had fun taking pictures of the girls for their Valentine:)
Madison's Birthday Tea Party
Just doing a little catching up on the blog. Three cute little girls keep me busy along with my hopes of having a somewhat clean house and fitting in a few projects of my own every now and then. That leaves me to do a November update in April, yes April. I'll have to adjust the dates so it fits in the right place.
Madison had a fun little tea party with her friends for her birthday. They decorated their own purses, played lots of games, did some freeze dancing, and ate these cupcakes in ice cream cones. They were fun to make and when you put too much batter in them it looks like the ice cream is melting:)
Valentines Day
The girls wanted to have a Valentines day party with their friends this year. Everyone made their own Valentines boxes at home and brought them so they could exchange valentines with their friends. We colored, played games, and frosted cookies. They even had races with giant heart marshmallows on spoons. It is so fun to watch them play and have a blast!
Later that night we exchanged valentines as a family. We have a fun tradition of having the receiver of the valentines go behind their door, we knock and hide then they come out to fun surprises:) It's always a good time!
