Flower Photo Shoot

This last spring there was a field by our house with all of these beautiful yellow flowers. I kept driving by saying we should go take some pictures of the girls in it and we finally did! They had so much fun running through the flowers and getting covered in pollen!

Hanging out and Butterflies

Emerie and Adelaide have such a cute relationship! They know how to make each other laugh for sure!
This spring the girls got some caterpillars for Easter. We had so much fun watching them grow and then turn into cocoons. After they hatched the girls were able to feed them and watch them for a few days before we released them into the open air. Madison had even named all of them and would tell us which ones she saw throughout the summer.

Cute Dancer

Madison's spring dance recital was so fun to watch. She has come a long way from running of the stage to say hi to us when she first started:)

Storytime on the bunkbed!

Our girls loved reading storries and I love reading to them. Madison does a good job keeping me awake when I start to fall asleep! One of these days I might catch up on sleep:)

Happy Three Year Old Birthday To Emerie!

Emerie was so excited to turn three! She wanted a Dora birthday party and her most consistent request was that we had a pinata! We did coloring, I have a little boots and he won't bite you, dancing, limbo, and her favorite part was the pinata! She was also able to get her first big girl bike! It is a Tinkerbelle bike with training wheels, and lots of cutsie girl decorations!
We love our Emerie! She is growing up too fast!

The Easter Bunny!

Emerie was not afraid of the Easter bunny this year! Last year I think she was on my lap and crying:( It always helps of course to be wearing your froggy hat when you visit the bunny. Adelaide didn't seem to mind the bunny either!
Our local grocery store Giant Eagle hosts the bunny, and egg hunt, face painting, cookie decorating, and Emerie (with my help) guessed the right amount of jelly beans in the the bunny jar behind her so she got to take it home! She was so proud!
On Easter they loved looking for their baskets and eating all the candy in them! The best part was watching daddy look for his Easter basket! The bunny hid it in a very "tricky" spot (it was actually pretty easy) but daddy couldn't find it for such a long time. We were laughing so hard!

More Family Pictures

After Adelaide woke up from her nap we had to take more pictures! Love these cute girls. It really is guite the task to get everyone somewhat looking in the camera and smiling!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I felt so sound of music making these dresses. They were from some old sheets that I had held on to for a few years. I wasn't quite sure how I would like the colors but I think they turned out so fun! The green is such a perfect springtime color!
